Saturday 17th February, we take a rest from the rigours of staying on top of the league with a sterling chance to move onwards to the Quarter Finals of the FA Cup when United take on a very good Reading side, managed by former United player, Steve Coppell.

Reading are a very good side, and we must not underestimate them. They will play a lot better than they did in the recent league game at Old Trafford.

I expect Ferguson to put out his strongest eleven and hopefully everyone will be fit to play. We have no midweek game but this FA Cup tie comes just before the Lille Champions League game. I am wary that Fergie might try and rest one or two players as we all know that the Champions League is a bigger priority for Fergie.

This is a squeaky bum game but Fergie will use his dodgy tactical plan again. No way will he play our best lineup but i just hope he has a better bench lineup than today. No reason why we shouldn't win this and the game against Lille on our present form anyway.

I was disgusted with the performance of United yesterday. I thought they were lazy and didn't chase back when the ball was lost. The passing, compared to Readings, was diabolical. The final third of the pitch we seemed to have few ideas. It was only a fortuotious strike by Carrick that woke me up the whole game!

It was not until Scholes, Larsson and Evra came on did the game actually light up. No wonder the BBC commentator on tv said it gave the crowd something to shout about.

The blame for a "possible" FA cup exit will now rest on the shoulders of Fergie. He continuously picks teams for a game we are not even playing, eg: Lille on Wednesday.

This replay is a game that we did not want, another game to squeeze in. If Fergie prefers the CL and the Prem then he should gift Reading the replay.

Don't forget the disallowed Ole goal and the many many gilt-edged chances we had. At the very end, Louis ought to have released the ball for the two charging support strikers in the form of Larsson and Ronaldo.

We missed Rooney and Giggs, although Park had a good game. Carrick has managed to silence his critics by getting his second United goal of the season. The defending was shoddy with even Vidic making some schoolboy back-passes.
