Sevilla ace Luis Fabiano has put Europe's top clubs on alert by hinting he could leave the Spanish outfit.

The Brazilian striker revealed that a recent burglary at his Seville home had him pondering his future for his family's sake.

Fabiano's family were held at gunpoint last month by robbers when the Sevilla striker was at training and the top scorer in La Liga has admitted he could move on for personal reasons.

"My family, at this moment, are very scared and aren't thinking about remaining in Seville," Fabiano told Spanish TV. "I'm speaking with them to see if they would change (their thinking), but it's not easy."

The likes of Manchester United, Tottenham, Manchester City, Roma and Real Madrid have all been linked with the free-scoring forward and they will be encouraged by the uncertainty over his future at Sevilla.

Fabiano's future at Sevilla has been the subject of speculation for some time because a wrangle over his ownership and his buy-out clause.

Sevilla claim it would cost €60million [£44million] to sign Fabiano, while the player believes his buy-out clause is only €11million [£7million].

Fabiano has admitted both parties are struggling to come to an agreement over his valuation.

"I'll see what Sevilla have in mind. We spoke once and didn't arrive at any agreement.

"Things are going very well."

He had a trial with us before but we couldn't sign him because of his work permit. Sir Alex I think would sign him if he got the chance to.
Agreed... He's a good striker... and what is going on with Sevilla that many players are all opting to get out? Sevilla is a team that plays good passing, they played well as a team no individual... Fabiano goals are mostly due to good crosses, he's a finisher... Don't mind to have him here but not on that price tag...

I have followed him since his days at mourinhos porto, I think hes a good player but has a real attitude problem and i dont like the price tag ( altough if he really wants to leave i beleive theyll cut it) and Im not sure he has enough caps to get a work permit.
