Man utd were plunged in to a match gambling row yesterday, it is alleged in a magazine that three of united's french internationals stars made bet's with boss sir alex ferguson

They were gambling on the outcome of the france v scotland game in the euro 2008 qualifying campaign, more of the outcome here

Private betting between friends/colleagues is fine. It's placing bets at bookies on matches that you're involved in that is against the rules.

Besides, proving it will be impossible because I doubt they've handed each other betting slips!!!
