A rare good signing from Rafael Benitez,or probably his best. Wow,11 goals in 13 games,a marvellous feat! So what more do you expect? He looks like a snip @ 20.2million pounds. Kinda' regret that SAF didn't get him during the summer though. Let's see if he can out-score our Wayne Rooney this season. Along with Ronnie,I predict that all 3 of them will finish with more than 25 goals in all competition this season.

Torres and Gerard are world-class....

Gerard has been carrying Liverpool for the last few seasons.........

This season with someone with real quality up front and crouch on form they really could perform above expectations.....

and finish..........3rd or 4th......

No way Torres can be branded as a world class - this is the best season of his career in which was constantly outscored by the likes of Villa,Forlan Kanoute,Milito and co. Sure he's been scoring regularly this season, but let us just wait and see if he could carry this form throughout the season before putting him up there

During the period he played in La Liga only Villa and Eto'o scored more goals overall than Torres.

He's never been a 20 goal per season striker but the supply he's getting at Liverpool is much better than it was at Atletico, he's playing in Europe this season and there's no equivalent of the League Cup in Spain. It looks likely that he'll get 20+ this season.

I think it's too early for Torres to be branded World class yet but he certainly has the potential. Same with Rooney...

overall, yes, but for the 2 previous seasons he was outscored by Villa, Kanoute Morientes and Forlan I think. And supply in Valencia , Villareal or Sevilla is not THAT better... Those are clubs of the same callibre
