The FIFA rankings are very questionable.

Countries like USA are ranked very highly because they win a lot of competitive qualification games but when you look at the standard of competition in the CONCACAF this is not surprising.

I still think past performance has too much bearing on the ranking. It used to take into account the last 8 years but this has been reduced to the last 4 years.

This means that England are still in the top 11 because we have reached the last 8 of the last 2 major tournaments we played in but on current form we are not even in the top 16 sides in Europe, let alone the World.

i think this list shouldn't be taken litterarly ... it only indicates the quality of football of top 20 nations, but whether someone is 6th or 10th is hard to distinguish... i know that my croatia deserves to be amoung top 12, but 10 or 6th i don't know... we'll see if we stay undefeated at wembley and skopje wich i think we can
