Unlike lots of united fans im a fan of fletcher I think he turns up for big games battles hard and always plays with his heart . Many say he will leave but he has a future and I also think if he was to put on abit of weight he would be a even better player . So what your view ?

He's a good squad player, but no more than that.
work horse.
hard grafter.
great squad player.
I adore the "fringe" players.

Fletch
Park
Brown
OShea
Foster
Eagles

They have such passion for the club and its great to see

I think Fletch has really proven his quality this season along with Brown....

Hmm......Foster is going to be England's and our Number 1 in te next 3 years.

Trust me! ;)

Eagles has promise.........we may not see much of him, but he does well in reserves.

BTW, theres some mighty fine players lurking in the younger teams at Old Trafford
I admire Fletcher. Hes another Ole in terms of he doesn't always play, but never complains or fights and just waits for his time.

People who slate him obviously don't watch him that often, or have something personal against him.

Hes a very good player, fantastic for Scotland, and definitely he should stay and continue to play his part for United.

And why would Sir Alex pick him in front of some of our other great midfielders for key games?
Decent squad player, and showed he can be an integral part of a team when he played that game against Arsenal.
Although i can see him leaving in the summer as if he joined a team like for e.g. Newcastle he could be a first team regular.
I love Fletcher!! Can't see him in any other team,,
Flecth plays with everything he has, and I try and respond to that. While some United fans give him stick, myself included in that, he does always seem to come back and is always up for the big matches.

He is similar to Diego Forlan in his positive attitude when he is left out of the side, and when he is on the pitch he will always want the ball and will never hide.

Good player to have in the squad. He would run all day and seems to give his all. Seems like a nice lad as well when you speak to him.

He finally seems to be transforming his Scotland form to United, and he is slowly growing on me.
Never have been until this season. He's put some great performances in this year, espeically in the Champions League; and those two against Arsenal, which ultimatley led to the begining of the end of their season 2007-08, were priceless.
I like the fringe players but Fletcher no...Park, Foster, Brown I love them all but for some reason I just don't like Fletcher...I think it would be best if he maybe moves to another club where he can play regular first team football as he deserves too...but not for us at OT...but what I do give him respect and credit for is the fact that he sits on the bench waiting for his chance and when his called upon he doesn't do anything wrong and that he doesn't sit there having a sook and moaning that he isn't playing like others do at other clubs like Sissoko or Gilberto or Flamini..
Count me in as a fan of fletcher... Love his tackling... Well timed...
Great job...
was not a great fan of fletcher before....only liked his goal against chelsea which won us the game 2 years ago i think...but only saw a few games here and there and didnt see how good fletcher was....but last year and this year i understand how important fletcher is to us and he is one of the best squad players ever.....
i am a fletcher fan!! :)
Fletcher needs more time on the pitch.

When he starts matches he's been able to show what he can do and has performed well in some very big games for United. His passing is very good once he finds his range and he adds a lot of energy and bite to the midfield.

I hope the days of him playing right midfield are over because he was always poor there and I don't think he's very effective when coming on for the last few minutes of a game. It always seems to take him a while to get into the flow of a game and if he's coming on late he tends to gives the ball away and loses out in tackles too often for my liking.

This isn't helped by his sporadic appearances. He'll start one game and then we won't see him for a month. I think if he played more consistently he'd be more effective generally and from the bench.

The question is, will he get the time on the pitch he needs to improve with the wealth of midfield talent we have at the club? Probably not imo, but I'd still hang onto him, for now at least, because he is a good squad player and, like I said, has performed well in some big games for us.

Fletcher is the man! anytime ive seen fletcher he has always put in real good work. He is like tevez in mid field always keeping pressure on opponents and creates chaos! when I saw him play with scotland i noticed that his ball control skills were very high verses others on pitch.
