Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher has become a "mental fan" as he recovers from a knee injury.

The Scotland international will be at Ewood Park on Saturday where Blackburn Rovers provide the opposition.
Fletcher has found it hard to watch United after suffering the setback playing for Scotland last month.
Sir Alex Ferguson's side are chasing glory on two fronts - the retention of their Barclays Premier League title, not to mention getting their hands on the Champions League trophy.

Fletcher said: "I have turned into a mental fan now I am not on the pitch.
"I find myself in the directors box questioning referees' decisions. I really need to calm down. People are looking at me and wondering 'who is that lunatic?'
"But it is just getting to that stage where the club want to achieve so many things. I am desperate to get back but have to make do with being in the crowd, so that is frustrating."

has been an unfortunate season for him. lost his place to some of his teammates, and when finally starting to put in some fine performances, injury hit him.
hope he keeps his appetite for the game up and perform when called upon, i am sure he still can contribute to our titles run in

He's one of the incredible players that seize his chances whenever given a chance.
Really thankful that he's willing to wait, he ability could bring him anywhere... He's the midfield general of Scotland. Hopefully we can see him often next season...
