Robbie Savage getting elbowed in the face by a referee was pretty funny.

So was the way that ref fell over when Paolo Di Canio pushed him.

The Man city balloon. The Man city ballboy keeping it in against arsenal. Cantona teaching that idiot a lesson:p. RVP missing the ball by a mile and falling over. Oh and Liverpool.

I didn't see this, obviously, but I thought it was quite funny...

Ghana international striker Junior Agogo was offered a wife after firing his side in to the Africa Cup of Nations semi-final. An 82-year-old fan turned up at the team's hotel and promised his "very beautiful granddaughter" to the player.

Definately has to be City Vs Liverpool in 96????? not 100% on the year sounds about right, they were drawing 2-2 at maine road, the players thought they only needed a point to stay up, so they took the ball to the corner flag. The fans were fuming cos only a win would keep them up and City went down while they were wasting time. Brilliant stuff and something only City can do :D

Roger Kirkpatrick, a 60s referee, ref'd many games at OT. He would run by bringing his knees level with his hip and perpendicular to the ground. One day, the teams were out and - no ref!

Slight pause as teams lined up then he ran out of the tunnel to tumultuous applause. He waved to the stretford end then carried on with the game. A real character, sadly missing in todays game.
