Name some of the funniest things you've seen while watching a football match.For me,i was watching Inter vs Empoli when Esteban Cambiasso went to go take a corner and behind him,the moving billboard poster had the product Procede(the revolutinary hair growth formula) on it

mine was a few months back..not sure what league it was in but a guy shot, missed and the ball boy put the ball in the back of the net and the ref gave the goal

Ghana international striker Junior Agogo was offered a wife after firing his side in to the Africa Cup of Nations semi-final. An 82-year-old fan turned up at the team's hotel and promised his "very beautiful granddaughter" to the player.

Definately has to be City Vs Liverpool in 96????? not 100% on the year sounds about right, they were drawing 2-2 at maine road, the players thought they only needed a point to stay up, so they took the ball to the corner flag. The fans were fuming cos only a win would keep them up and City went down while they were wasting time. Brilliant stuff and something only City can do

Roger Kirkpatrick, a 60s referee, ref'd many games at OT. He would run by bringing his knees level with his hip and perpendicular to the ground. One day, the teams were out and - no ref!

Slight pause as teams lined up then he ran out of the tunnel to tumultuous applause. He waved to the stretford end then carried on with the game. A real character, sadly missing in todays game.
