Between Valencia, and Palacios, Wigan actually have a pretty talented midfield.
and Zaki at attacking this guy is immense
the EPL top-goalscorer and with no doubt the World Best Striker :)

yeah, Ive been seriously impressed with Zaki, so much so that I bought him
for only 6 million in FF lol.
He is now worth 6.6m.
Classy player who seems to be a perfect striker, He works well with Heskey
thats for sure. They seem to be a decent enough team under Bruce.
They dont concede many goals either.

The thread title is a bt exsessive and all-encompassing.

Maybe it can be changed to General premiership results threaD?

Otherwise, basically anything non-United, but prem-related goes in here...... quite a lot for a single thread if you ask me.

Excessive maybe.
but I dont see the point in having a fresh thread for every random Prem game
that someone happens to be watching.
Much easier to talk about current games in here, as we dont have a shoutbox.
It will keep all the sh1t together :) and get a few discussions going.
For example we wouldnt need to have an extra thread to talk about Zaki or Wigan/City etc...
so we just keep it all in here. I thought it was a good idea anyway lol.
Ill change the name anyway.

2-1 to Wigan hahaha Citeh.
Valencia's goal was amazing. No one was saving that. Over 60 miles per hour it was travelling.
Zaki got MOTM and was quality.
Great result for Wigan and Brucie got the better of Sparky today.

Anyone else think that the Prem is getting much better?
Any team can beat any team on any given day.
SPurs and Newc are bottom of the table and Hull are up in 5th or 6th.
Its great to watch.

Gallas 'can't accept' Tigers setback
http://www.teamtalk.com/football/story/0,16368,2483_4207538,00.html

Arsenal captain William Gallas has told his team-mates that complacency this season against teams such as Hull will leave them empty-handed.

Gallas is desperate to lift some silverware to end Arsenal's trophy drought - they last won a cup in 2005 - but defeat to Phil Brown's Premier League newcomers was a setback in their title bid.

Hull were given little chance of getting a result at Emirates Stadium, and Gallas hopes his players were not treating their opponents lightly.

"I don't think so and I hope not because if we think like this we will not go anywhere," said the France defender.

"The players were ready to play a strong game, we were not lucky and we have to work more and try to stay in the fourth position.

"It's very difficult to accept. We said all the time we wanted to win every game and we lost 2-1 to Hull City," he told Arsenal TV Online.

The champions in the last three seasons have lost five games during their successful campaigns, with Arsenal already losing two of their first six matches.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger could make changes for Tuesday's Champions League clash against Porto, with Mikael Silvestre fit for selection. Samir Nasri is getting closer to a return but may have to wait until next week's trip to Sunderland.

"I don't know if we can't afford to lose again. I believe that what is important now is to recover and prepare well for the next game on Tuesday," Wenger said.

"What we delivered against Hull was not good enough - we know that - so the important thing now is not how many games we can lose this season but preparing well for Tuesday night."

Wenger was once sick following a match in France, and after defeat to Hull he added: "There were certainly enough ingredients in the game to make me physically sick again!"

Gallas, who lost Daniel Cousin at a corner for Hull's winner, had no complaints with the result.

Paul McShane's own goal had given Arsenal the lead before Geovanni's rocket levelled matters, then Cousin struck.

"They showed the character, they showed they can play football," Gallas said. "They were very strong and we were not strong enough, so we have to forget that game and think about the next game on Tuesday."

As Villa maager, O'Neil has NEVER lost to Chelsea!

He's taken the most points from Chelsea, then any other team during his spell at
Villa Park.

Lets hope we'll see this record continue tomorrow.

Arsenal score in the 93rd minute and level with Sunderland at the Stadium of Light...

Incredible! Arsenal 90 seconds from back-to-back shock defeats!

Keano will be raging that they couldn't defend a corner now IMO....God, they
were so close!

Richardson's fault in the corner according to the analysts ehh...he was playing quite good but let Fagregas pass him for the goal.

Still 2 points dropped!
