We all know Ryan Giggs in one of the best players utd have ever had and is a true legend but this season he just has not impressed me, where this kid Nani looks better everytime i see him good pace, tricks,goals. For me it would be Nani but who would u guys rather in your team??

But time waits for no one !!

He is getting too old now.

I dont like to see players go too far and get mocked for the way they play.

Thats the stupidest thing ever said. You do know that playing one minute in a game counts as an apperance right ? So if he was playing him for apperances only he could just bringhim on in the 9th minute.

Yes he was voted among the top6 7 months ago and ppl are quick to forget that but when its a misplaced pass by him it would never be forgotten.

We are taken Ryan for granted. Someone who we used to see do everything right, the perfect profissional and the perfect player. He's going through a bad patch, so what ? Gerrard has been going through a bad patch for a while now, do you see liverpool fans singling out every mistake he makes ?

Im not saying he should start. Hes been off form and he should be dropped for a couple of games. But to say that hes only playing to break the record is disrespectful to Giggs, Sir Alex and the club as a whole. Hes playing because hes Ryan Giggs, yes not the pacey winger any more, but still a great player. And his contribution to us over the years, and especially LAST season (not 6978 years ago for the ppl who say hes past it, just last season) was great and vital to our success. Give Ryan a break, will ya.

Well said KF. I think Nani will get chances as the season progresses and Giggs' form has been a bit poor but for now Im sticking with Giggs. Nani has started to impress a bit more after slow start but Giggs is still the man and will get his form back soon.

Ryan Giggs. I know he hasn't been in top form but I think his experience and what he CAN do just edges him over Nani who at times can give away possession easier than a toddler.

although he's not in the best form of his life i'd still pick giggs over nani

nani is the future of untied and giggs is the present IMO, nani is still young and will be incosistent in games never mind a full season as we've already seen, giggs brings much more to the table than nani in terms of experience, leadership, flexability (he can play in 3 man midfield) hence the reason nani has not even had a sniff in the big games.

Nani all the way, giggs should be on the bench until he recaptures his form, harsh i know but if we want united to win games i think we've got to start nani (especially in the champions league like SAF has been doing)!
