Giggs To Sunderland ?

Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs
set for Sunderland move?

Ryan Giggs could be offered the chance
of a move to Sunderland to play at the
Stadium Of Light.

The 34-year-old Welshman has just one
year left on his current Old Trafford
contract but his first-team chances are
set to be even harder to achieve next
season.

Roy Keane will offer his former team
mate a three-year deal as he looks to
take Sunderland to the next level in the
Premier League.

i dont think ryan will go anywhere until he has broken sir bobbys record for appearances , which will be early next season i think.
i definately think time is up for ryan , he is the model proffesional , and a one club man which is hard to find these days and will go down as one of our greatest ever players.
but sentiment should not rule the head , when its time to go its time to go.
I agree with stretty..he will remain at the club till he breaks the apps record and then have a fairytale ending and end his career on a high retiring with Man United!!
With less than 10 games to break Sir Bobby Charlton's record, it would be most insane and illogical for Giggs to leave now.

Besides, he has also said he appreciated what Fergie has been doing for him to prolong his career so for him to leave for more first-team action does not make much sense.

And afterall, in the modern football era which money talks, it is highly unlikely any player would even come close to that record, which simply means that when Giggs does break the record, he knows it could be for eternity!!

But for some personal reason(s) or whatsoever he does choose to leave, I am sure he will have our full blessings and heart-felt gratitude.
G
i dont want to see him playing for a low-leveled club, regardless of breaking the record or not.
He is just to class for them

lmao where did you come from, how did a sunderland fan become so recognized on a united forum. anyways aslong as he breaks the record i give giggs the blessing to do what he wants with the remainder of his career.

and if he does go anywhere i would prefer sunderland. cause it would be legend to see him under roy. i like what keano is doing with sunderland atm, its a good movement. exciting time to be at the stadium of light

LMAO. He is only 14 so we still 'keep' him, believing he will grow out of the Sunderland thing....:D

P.S. And he conducts lessons on making signatures etc for United fans. Lol.
Giggsy is such a classy guy, maybe he doesn't want to break the record.

Just a thought...

Thats a possiblilty....
some players dont care about records and stats......
I dont believe this story for a second though. I can see him staying
1 more year and then maybe staying on the coaching staff.
He will want to win his 11th Prem next season to match his shirt number,
and by then he will get Bobby's record.
He may go to Sunderland then, its a possibility if he wants to carry on playing.
he will end his carrear here
but im not bothers if he goes sunderland
United wont be the same without Giggs but i think he's going to play another season to break the record then later on become a member of Uniteds coaching staff
I cant see it to be honest he aint gonna play for another club
I doubt. I don't think he'd ever play for another club. He's been with Man Utd for over 20 years now. He'd want to retire here.
It would be wonderful to see giggsey play under a former team-mate..
nah there no way he is gonna leave man utd i know for sure!
i think he'll stay at man u until he breaks the appearance record then mayb go2 his childhood favourite club (e.g scholsey to oldham)
doz anyone know which club giigsy supported as a kid??
