ronnie cope . he was due to go on the trip for experience but one of the first team was injured in the game with arsenal so his place was taken by one of the 8 players that died . cant remember of top of head which one took his place . he was miffed at being told he wasnt going on the trip and had planned on asking sir matt for a transfer when they got back . obviously he didnt and was rushed into first team . left a couple of years later
