A promising young center back who used to play for Lokomotiv Moscow. Last known whereabout had him signing for Chelski somewhere around January. He has not been seen since, almost as if he's vanished from the face of the earth. Questions have been asked of the large Russian oaf who seemed to be in charge of Chelski but after much waving about of cash and protestations of "Do you know who I am?" further questioning was abandoned. Please if you have any information call this hotline: 1800 - SHOULD'VE-GONE-TO-JUVE. Your help would be appreciated.

lol! As far as I have seen him he is a great defender. Similar to vidic in the no nonsense defender aspect. I was a little bummed when Chelsea got him. He is very versitile and can play any where in the back four like O'Shea. We don't need him since we have O'Shea to fill in the gaps of injuries and fatigue. I was thinking of making him our new rb since we need one but his prefered and natural position was lb and cb and his weakest could be the rb according to some of my Serbian contacts lol

He was only playing RB because Ferreira is done for the season plus Bosing-waaaah wasnt fit. you are right...Rafael is realy great,but you can not compare him with Bane,cos his primary position is CB and he plays RB by force in Chelsea and in Serbian squad,and he do it great.We were strongly linked with him not long ago, but because Chelsea's scouting network consists of reading the papers and buying players linked to their rivals they beat us to the punch.

Ivanovic had a very good game yesterday. He is extremely quick and he scored 2 against the Scousers. I love serbians

Seeing him yesterday made me think how he would have fit in perfectly for us with all the injuries to our back line, he is very versatile in the back four and frankly I rate him above brown.

We (Serbia) now have one of the greatest defenders in the world. Vidic, Bane Ivanovic, Neven Subotic,... At last we have great coach too Radomir Antic. He made great team. Unfortunatlle he couldn`t make Bojan Krkic and Marko Marin to play for us but anyway in next 4,5 years we r going to have team that is going to be respected and team in top 10.
Someone said that Ivanovic is playing CB in representation, he is verstile player, and can play in whole last line, but also he can play DM. In our representation he is playing RB, and sometime when it is needed he play on some other position. Before he was bought by Chelsea he got the tittle in Russia, the best RB in the league.
