I know it is a bit late but should we try to sign him on loan till the summer maybe ( some sort of a Larsson deal ) ? He's the 3rd striker at Inter ( with zlatan and Cruz ahead of him ) and apparently a move back to Argentina is in line for him, but maybe one more spell in Premiership with the champions could tempt him to come to use. we could use his experience a lot. He would give us another option upfront... i know this is highly unlikely but i just had to put him in the transfer talk

Never even thought about him but if we could get him on loan till the end of season would e a amazing deal, he would make a gr8 3rd choice striker, he has everything pace movement speed and can head the ball.

Isn't he still on Chelski's books?

On August 7, 2006, Crespo signed for Inter Milan on a two-year loan from Chelsea, in a similar deal to that agreed on for Juan Sebastián Verón, and although Chelsea had the option to bring Crespo back after one season, it was agreed on May 30 2007 he would remain for another year on loan.
Don't think they'd let us sign him even if we wanted to.

Yeaps, he's on loan at Inter Milan from Chelsea currently. And as his contractual deal has confirmed, after the loan finished, he will never ever return to Chelsea Football Club. He will continue his professional football career somewhere else. Get it guys? ;)

Clinical finishing ability , excellent aerial prowess & superb positioning. Also, a much better goal-per-game ratio compared to Wazza & Carlitos. But better than them? Not in a million light years.
lol----true,true...but he's a different type of a player

Chelsea have released striker Hernan Crespo after his contract at Stamford Bridge expired.

Crespo had not actually played for Chelsea since the 2005/6 season after falling out of favour with Jose Mourinho.

The Argentinian spent the last two seasons on loan with Inter Milan, having played for AC Milan in 2004/5.

Crespo was one of the first signings made by Claudio Ranieri after Roman Abramovich bought the club in 2003, scoring 12 goals in his opening campaign.

However, after Mourinho's arrival he was shipped out to Milan, playing and scoring in the Champions League final defeat to Liverpool in Istanbul in 2005.

A statement on Chelsea's official website read: "We thank Hernan for his efforts in a Chelsea shirt, and wish him well in the future."
He's out of contract...we could get him?!!
