DAVID BENTLEY wants a move and will not sign the new contract on offer at Blackburn.

The news will alert Chelsea and Tottenham, who have been tracking the England winger since January.

Bentley, 23, has been in talks over a £50,000-a-week extension to his current deal — which still has three years to run — for three months.

However, SunSport understands the wideman (right), who is on duty with England for tomorrow's game at home to the USA, will sign only if a get-out clause is included.

Blackburn are not interested in that option because a get-out clause forced them to sell Craig Bellamy to Liverpool for £6.5million in 2006.

Asked at yesterday's England Press conference whether he had signed his deal, Bentley replied: “No I haven't.â€

The FA media chief then moved in to stop him answering further questions.

Blackburn missed out on Europe this season and Bentley admitted watching the Champions League final had whetted his appetite.

He said: “They're the matches I want to play in. I want to reach the top of my game and I haven't done that yet.

“I wouldn't say I'm impatient — but I'm hungry for success.â€

However, Rovers boss Mark Hughes is in no mood to let Bentley go — even for £15m. -thesun
