Frank Rijkaard was just quoted on Setanta about the possibility of Drogba joining Barcelona in the summer. His response was, "Obviously, if we would be very pleased to have the opportunity to sign a player like Drogba." However, he then balked at a Samuel Eto swap. "Samuel is a player who is very talented and has done very well for our squad. We would certainly be interested in aquiring Didier, but not via swap."
Interesting. No doubt Rijkaard would be insane to let Eto leave. But now I'm wondering... as it already looks as if Ronaldinho is done there. What about Henry? He certainly hasn't impressed. Would there be any need for Eto, Drogba, Bojan and Henry? I know Barca would be the squad to hoard all four of them if any club were going to. But how could Rijkaard possibly keep all four in good spirits?
could it be possible that barca is letting go of henry and drogba will be brought in to fill his place... after all Keegen did say that he wante Henry
