John Obi Mikael - nited don't deserve to win title

John Obi Mikael has apparently told the newspapers that Manchester United do not deserve to win the title and that Chelsea have been the better team this season.

For starters Mr Obi Mikael, you should of stayed at Manchester United instead of hopping away, glory hunting and caring about the size of your wallet, your decision to join Chelsea has backfired and it's your own fault.

A few things to point out to Mr sore loser, one, if we don't deserve to win the title then how come we have been top of the league for most of the season? Two, Chelsea, although they are good team, have not been the better team this season, they lost two goalkeepers in one game, the game against reading and they also lost their captain John Terry and like us this season they have had to rearrange their defence, with Mikael Essien being played in central defence, which did not work out for them, which made them lose to Liverpool, Middlesbrough.

I think Chelsea have been too much used to winning these Premiership titles than they don't realise that Manchester United have been the better team this season, we have been more consistent and have won more games than Chelsea, hence Manchester United being on top of the league. We have seen Cristiano Ronaldo play his best season for the club since we signed him in 2003.

Chelsea and Jose Mourinho obviously cannot stand losing, especially after buying two Premiership titles with Abramovich's unlimited amount of money, Manchester United have proved that money isn't all it's cracked up to be, Manchester United have invested in youth and experience and developing players like Wayne Rooney and especially Cristiano Ronaldo and our experienced players like Paul Scholes, Gary Neville, Ryan Giggs.
And like Eric Cantona said last season, Manchester United will be champions again because they have setup a team that will be together for many years to come, you can't just expect world class players to fit in and gel together, especially in one of the toughest leagues in the world, we have seen players like Mikael Ballack and Andrey Shevchenko, although are world class players, they have not impressed in the Premiership.

I think a manager who can click his fingers and already have a team that has an unlimited amount of money is something out of a championship manager game and that is what Chelsea are basically, a dream team and not a team that can instantly let it's world class players gel straight away.

Manchester United have set the standards this season, which we have had to improve dramatically, because Chelsea have set the standards in the past couple fo seasons, but it's nice to know that we have set the standards even higher and in the process, see their manager crack under the pressure and come out with jealous and outrageous statements, the sign of a sore loser shows all over Mourinho's face and that's been the most entertaining thing I've seen since he arrived at Chelsea in 2004. The 'Special one' has just lost his 'special' status to Ronaldo, someone who acts like such a baby should not even be called 'special'.

Manchester United deserve to be the new champions of the Premiership and I am proud of what we have achieved this season through hard work, belief and we didn't get this success through Malclom Glazer, we have used the players we already have and they have improved their game and beaten Chelsea at their own game.

And I think Sir Alex Ferguson has been fantastic this season, turning a 2nd place team into champions, his success is due to his longevity and his vast amount of experience as a manager, he has definitely surpassed Sir Matt Busby's greatness.
