...we hadsome rollercoaster, eh?

All those magical moments, the tough ones, the sad ones and of course those
joyous ones.

But what game will you remember the season for, besides the obvious one in
Moscow. So many tough games in the League, magnificant win over Arsenal in the
cup, the double over teh scousers, Barcelona at home, Spurs away...the list goes
on...

Which match did you feel was extra special last season?

The Barca home game and the CL final were so nerve wracking for me....
but the joy at the end was unforgettable.
I really enjoyed Hammers at home at the end of the season cos we killed
them, the Prem was more or less home and I was there ;-)

I thought that the Blackburn game really defined us last season and particularly what last season meant in terms of 50 years since Munich.

We played poor in the first half, in the second we were better although nothing was going for us. We should have had 3 penalites, Friedal was doing his yearly Superman routine and if it was anyone else they might have given up and said 'its just not our day', but we stuck in there, continued to miss chance after chance, untill finally we scored in the last minute, showing that we never give up and as the song says, 'we'll never die'.

Special mentions to the Arsenal FA Cup game - that was the beginning of the end for Arsenal,

The Arsenal game at OT

Spurs game at WHL

and of course the Barca and Wigan games where 2 of our greatest ever players scored the all important goals to win the match.

OT I know but having thought about this I think our greates moments/games are always when our backs are against the wall.

The only game I actually went to last season was Bolton 2-0 not a fantastic game
but I got to see Ronaldo match and then beat George Best's goalscoring record
for a winger.

Another good one for me was the thrashing of Liverpool where Nani scored a cracker.

2-1 Arsenal was another good one because we effectively put Arsenal out of the
title race that day.

That must've been disappointing since we were up 2-0 after 22 minutes if I recall correctly.

So many great matches last season.

Beating Arsenal (league and cup :D ), Chelsea and Liverpool at Old Trafford was brilliant.

In the Champions League the 2-0 win in Rome, the 1-0 v Barca and winning the final was incredible.

In terms of the games I was at, beating Newcastle 6-0 stood out. Take that King Kev! :D

Yeah something like that. Second half was a bit crap but it was
made slightly better by constantly shouting YSB at Kevin Davies :D

Well said mate.....

That Blackburn game was one where every time we shot, we thought we scored
but then a brilliant keeper kept us out. Sheasy almost scored in it too. And the
chance where Carlos shot and it was rolling...rolling....still rolling over the line until
Freidal managed to smother it, and then we did score and the feeling wasn't one
taht we lost of just about drew but it was an alomst brilliant feeling.

Another great match that I will remember is Boro away where we simply fell apart
in the game conceded 2 and if it weren't for VDS we could have been 4 down.
Then Wazza steps up for us to earn a well fought draw.

Roma away in the CL quarter finals was a memorable night too, finally beating
them there.

the stories and memories coming! ;)

Aye, the Blacburn game at Ewood Park was immense. I wish so much that I had been at that game because United's fans were fantastic. They went absolutely mental when Tevez scored and I thought their support throughout the game was superb.

I remeber being down the pub for the game v blackburn..and when tevez scored we were goin crazy in there i was jumpin shoutin TEVEZ! TEVEZ!...the player is already a legend.

Roma away was superb, quality perfomance and ronaldo did his stuff once again.

The Fa Cup game v arsenal is the No 1 for me. I was there in the south stand next to the away fans the banter was quality!! My best experience at OT so far.
When adebayor was warming up one guy shouted 'yh go on get that stick insect on, we'll kick him about'

I think getting 14 from a possible 18 points from games against the other top teams was a significant step towards the title. But for me I thought the games against Spurs (away) and Blackburn (away) were the defining moments in the title staying with us .

Now that I think about it......Easter Sunday, United killing Liverpool. I watched that
in a pub in Barcelona and straight after went to watch Barca winning at
the Nou Camp. That was an awesome day's drinking. :)

The double at Anfield.

Another brilliant moment.

I was surprised to learn recently that Liverpool have failed to score against United in league games during Benitez's reign.

So at the end of the 1st half it was good to see Tevez seal the win :D
