I've pondered your last question a few times.

I'm not sure if I'd even want it to be a huge league, I'd rather it just be our way of developing quality players for our National side, to go play in Europe.

Its definitely improved exponentially of late, but I think it will plateau eventually, due to the bigger plays going of to Europe, where there isn't a salary cap.
