Im a fan of Viduka. He has an unbelievable touch and holds the ball up extremely well. He is also a great finisher. His lack of pace doesnt really suit the United way but he would be a great addition to the squad. He would offer something a bit different . There are other strikers out there that I would prefer to see at OT (Huntelaar, Eto'o and Torres) but if they cant be signed sure we may as well take Viduka. He would be on a free after all.

boro do give us a good game, is this down to vidukas imense hold up play, he does do it well, and his feet are as nimble as any, could teach rooney a thing or too, similar builds and that. Comin to think of it rooney has had some really talented strikers to learn from since his time at united, ole, ruud, yorke trained with them before world cup, larsson. learnin from the best or what. But more importantly vuduka, worth it i reckon, tis practically free for fek sake

But..

ona free transfer.. why wouldnt he make a good bench player/recovery for a big summer signin i.e owen, berbatov, torres, eto (al the big named strickers that have bin linked)

Plus he would cost **** ALL!
