Another good quote was from Ron Atkinson. Bryan Robson once asked him how good Duncan Edwards was exactly. Ron said "Far better than you'll ever be Robbo". Thats saying something since Robbo is th most complete player of his generation.

Parker was more or less an ever present for the first 3 years of his United career. Wasnt blighted any more than the average player. Then Neville came on the scene. Great player for us but still wouldnt make my bench though

Parker was an ever present in his first three year. He got a bad ankle injury that he played through for most of his third year and that affected the rest of his career. In his Fourth year I remember Paul Ince and Roy Keane filling at right back quite often and then came Gary "United is my life" Neville. It was unfortunated for Parker, a great lad and a very good player. He wouldnt be any where near my selection of legends though.
