Manchester United are reviving their interest in Spartak Moscow midfielder Maksym Kalynychenko.

The winger, rated at £6 million by Spartak, is a former teammate of United defender Nemanja Vidic and courted interest from the Premiership leaders during the World Cup.

The 27-year-old Ukrainian would be ineligible in Europe in the second half of the campaign. But the Reds are believed to have been keeping close tabs on him.

Can't say I've heardof the bloke tbh. Does anyone know what wing he plays? Could be a direct replacment For Giggsy, even though I'd prefer one of our youth players to take that magical role. Someone like Martin if he's upto the job.
