Man Utd to stun Real Madrid-Ronaldo

Real Madrid will be told to effectively put £100 MILLION on the table by Manchester United should they come knocking for Cristiano Ronaldo.

Marca says United are ready price Ronaldo out of a move to Madrid by demanding £35 million cash, plus stars Robinho, Sergio Ramos and Mahamadou Diarra all in exchange. On the open market, the trio would command fees in excess of £60 million in total.

United will make it clear to Real that if they're so determined to prise the world's best player away from Old Trafford, they will have to suffer in the process by giving up three stars who all have their best days well in front of them.

Brilliant. So, so brilliant. Actuallly if Real Madrid offered £35 Million PLUS Ramos, Robinho & Diarra... I'd be very, very tempted.

Basically I'm so so about Robinho & definitely Diarra would be surplus... but Ramos. Man oh man my dream signing is Sergio Ramos.

If we signed Ramos all I can say is that our defence would make the Italian defence in 2006 WC seem mediocre.

Maybe I'm alone in thinking this but Ramos is, for me, the best right back. In fact the best full back full stop. Forget Alves, Abidal etc.

Even better than Lahm, Evra, Maxwell, Maicon. I truly believe in 10 years Ramos will be a legend greater than Maldini.

If there's life after CANTONA, Keane, Nistelrooy etc. There's life after Ronaldo. That said I stilll truly enjoy watching him.

I'd like him to stay I'm just saying I'd be sorely tempted. :p

I don't believe this at all but i am also tempted.
Diarra - Very good player, solid im sure we wantef him at one point!
Ramos - Young defender who imo will become one of the top defenders around!
Robinho - Would be a risk depending on how he adapted would be class!
And like Dlan i would be tempted BUT obviously happy with Ronaldo :p

Ronaldo is the best player in the world, we may have another £100 million in the bank but so what. No matter who we replaced Ronaldo with it would be someone of lesser class. We would alsp need to pay high rates on the transfer market if we did sell him, as other clubs would be aware of our profit on Ronaldo. In terms of finances, we do not need to sell him, that should be the furthest thing on our minds. Instead we should look to build on the great squad we have and if we need to let fringe layers leave not players of Ronaldo's calibre.

Let's enjoy having the best player in the world strutting his stuff in the theatre of dreams for many years to come.

this is brilliant business by united, dont get me wrong i dont want ronaldo gona but this would be amazing, btw guys dont anyone underestimate Diarra he's a superb athlete, he's basically the new makelele and one of the main reasons that madrid are dominating spain right now, robinho if he put some muscle on who's to say he couldnt be as good as ronaldo and ramos is the un-disputed best right back in the world and with 35m on top of that we could buy berbatov or benzema which would make us the most potent force in football even without ronaldo, i cant see it happening untill fergie goes, but this would be brilliant business !
