Edwin Van Der Sar - Very little to do. What he did do he did well. 7
Danny Simpson - Looked lively and got into good positions but received little of the ball. 6
Nemanja Vidic - Looking solid as ever at the back both in air and on the floor. 7
Rio Ferdinand - Excellent partnership forming that solid as a rock 7
Patrice Evra - Usual pacy self up and down flank. Able to attack more due to lack of threat from Espanyol
Darren Gibson - Didnt impose himself on the game at all to have any impact. Very quiet. 5
Darren Fletcher - Average performance from Scotsman. Didnt justify his inclusion. 6
Paul Scholes - Was a Paul Scholes-like performance. Good passing range even came with couple of dodgy tackles. 8
Nani - Better in this game than majority of games last season. Still 1-2 signs of him lacking composure at minute. 7

Tevez - If this is what we are paying £32 million fo then get it paid and soon. Dogged performance and ran endlessly. 9
Giggs - Looking good and as fit as ever. Is this guy a robot??? 8

Brown - 7
Silvestre - 6
Campbell - 8
Kuz - 6
Evans - 6
O'Shea - 7
Ole Gunner Solksjaer - 200/10
