I think that manchester united recent prformance is very normal despite the win against chelsea. We were lucky today, chelsea didn`t play even half of their potential.

Our defence is at best but we miss creation upfront, plus we were very slow today what happend to the last season`s performance shouldn`t it be better this year?

The season will be so hard, english football needs goal scoring If you lose a goal then you have to score 2 or so, the team which has this ability will take points & win the title.

Is this arsenal/liverpool season ? it`s too early to say but I`m not comfortable right now we have to improve much faster we want performance & points not only one of them!

I think we played great football especially in the second half we just destroyed them and if u look at the statistics ull see that chelsea got only one shot on for the whole game while united got like 20 or something..

I don't know what the rant is for because all I can see is United getting stronger and stronger. 1-0 wins are fine at the moment with United's defensive record. Ok fair enough maybe a gear up won't do any harm but I am content with the way United are going at the moment!

defense is good so far. problem is in forwards which is getting better (first time 2 goals in this season against chelsea is good and i hope will be better). today players were more organized. i think team is getting close to last season's situaion. I think between arsenal , chelsea and liverpool we should have our eye mostly on arsenal.

I can't see Arsenal maintaining this form for the season, come a few weeks they will have dropped points or United will spoil there show. The manager might have experience of pressure at the top but its the players that have to play the match at the end of the day and I don't think they will cope - such a youthful side and in recent seasons haven't been up there to gain experience in the title race.

1-0 is not a result to be happy with we may drop points if we depend on 1 goal, yes results are improving but performance stayed the same (slow). If you like this then you only like points not football.

Chelsea were dead you know that, this is not chelsea, please I know we won 2-0 on chelsea & I know 2 that the performance was not good enough, we want to enjoy both win & performance .

Tevez Goal - will give him confidence
Saha (top Scorer) - will Just continue his perfect form

in case you didn't notice we have had rooney,ronaldo, and saha (our best attacking players) out for most of the season. any team in the world would miss that atacking talent, and coz they have been injured we have had to play all our new signings at once, when we would rather of brought them in slowly.

in the 1st half today against chelsea we looked far more dangerous than we have all season, no coincedence that rooney and ronaldo started together for the 1st time in the prem since the opening day of the season.

we have won 5 games on the bounce without conceding a goal and we are not even in 4th gear yet, and still you moan, sort your self out man ffs

No we wasn`t that dangerous we couldn`t get through thier defence most of the time, It was 50/50 till 32nd min when obi mikel sent off, just after the 5th min chelsea held the ball & began to find space behind our defence 2-3 one on ones at the edge of our box but sheva was alone.

Spot on again AC9. I just want to add that the players who were exceptional yesterday have been the players coming under criticism in some quarters recently(Wes, Rio, Tevez and Carrick) so form, fitness and confidence is improving in the entire squad. It will keep getting better as well. We are still in third gear griniding out results and if we did that all year I wouldnt be complaining one bit.

You're not comfortable You say we play bad but we win 5 straight games and let in no goal......it doesn't get much better - so what exactly do you expect from the guys then - please tell us..........

Tevez will know hopefully start scoring, him and rooney could be deadly and saha is immense.
I cant see cska chelski winning it id say 4th for them now, i think our closest contenders could be arsenal, but all the players are coming back know we havent conceded in 5 games, the goal scoring hasnt been excellent but as i said we should start scoring know with roon back and tevez hitting form.

I think we played well and still think there is more to come. Rooney and Tevez played well together considering it was their first game. We are winning games and not playing up to our usual standard.........that is the mark of champions i think.

My point is what if we conceded a goal what can we do (Man city match for example)
If we were bad in forward then what can we do ???? nothing.

Remember , our defence is good I know but their is something we all know "DEADLY MISTAKES" If we were up 1-0 that mistake may comes in the last minutes then believe me we will get a draw.

Since when we be up 1-0 & hold the ball try to lose the time in the 60th min !!!!! Since when we be up 1-0 & go back to defend this is not a champions way

I don`t believe in results I believe in the way to get results that is football If you play well then you will be on the safe side But like this puting my hand on my heart for the whole match is not good for me.

Now you all saw the match against birmingham & I can say WE WERE BAD, Eventhough we won the match but come on ! In this match we were passing too bad giggs was awful we did not create too many chances (our defence was bad too that day + I took this from the MANUTD Site for the one who don`t read matchs reviews only see the results.

This is what Steve bruce (Birmingham manager) said after the match & you can sence how bad our performance was :
