ATM we will rely on Hargo-Anderson pairing ahead of next big match.
Anderson, at this time are doing very good with his form even only played 4 times with us . Good workrate, blistering pace & accurate passing.
The thing that concern me is his pair, Hargreaves. I'm not saying that he's not good, but he's just coming from injury & just played a part in the last match. Looked struggle a bit. Is he good enough to mark 'fabregos'?
Can both of them played well together in the next important match?

BTW, any chance for Carrick?

Please convinced me....damn scholes injury blow [email protected]#K

I wouldnt be too worried. Hargreaves will be a rock against Arsenal. It was his first game back after injury against Boro and its standard to give him about an hours play. He will be grand for next week. He's tough as nails so dont worry.

Carrick should be back in training this week or so but wont be ready for the Arsenal game.
Ive a feeling that he will play Giggs and OH in the middle. Could be too much too soon for Anderson. I wouldnt be surprised if his front 6 were:

Tevez-----------Rooney
-----------Giggs-----------
Nani---------------Ronaldo
-----------OH--------------
The word is, Michael Carrick is fit to start. Personally, although I dont think it will happen, I'd go with the three of them. Hargreaves, Carrick and Anderson as a midfield trio with Tevez and Ronaldo on the wings. Giggs has the experience though, but I dont know. based on the players form and the opposition, Id leave Giggs out.

Hope not. Giggs is simply awful in the centre =[

I strongly disagree.

Giggs was simply brilliant whenever he played in the centre. From the late 90s til the second half of the 05/06 season when scholes was out with his eye problem. A combination of Great direct runs, the best off the ball movement in the league IMO and a very good range of passing and Giggs was voted player of that season by his teammates, and rightly so.

You could say that he's been average lately, that I would agree with, but Giggs was never an awful player wherever he played and whenever he was chosen to play in the centre of the park , he did well.

Could be a good team to play against Arsenal but I doubt Carrick will be ready. Giggs was rested at the weekend (maybe because of form or maybe he was rested with the Arse game in mind). If he plays Giggs he will surely play him through the middle like he normally does. Playing at the Emirates might require 5 in the middle, but I hope he plays 4-4-2 and we get right in about them.

Anderson was never intended to start many games for United this season. He had to step in because of injuries and he has done very well. I cant see him starting against Arsenal but you never know in football. Wait and see who Fergie picks I guess.
