Milan Agree To Sell Kaka For €102m
According to the Daily Star, Milan have decided to sell Kaka to Chelsea providing they receive a world record bid of €102m.

Chelsea have been consistently linked with a move for the European and World Footballer of the Year over the last few years, and this summer have been consistently linked with a mega-money bid for the star.

In July it was reported that Chelsea had made a €100m offer for Kaka. The next day Milan Vice President Adriano Galliani confirmed that the club had rejected a “conspicuous” offer from Chelsea but wouldn’t reveal a figure, before adding that Kaka was not for sale at any price.

Chelsea's chief executive Peter Kenyon then refuted talk of a bid for Kaka, but this didn’t stop the press reporting that the Londoners were set to make a huge €150m bid for the midfielder.

Eventually the speculation died down, but last week there were fresh reports in the English and Italian press that Milan may consider selling Kaka to Chelsea next summer for a world record fee.

The Daily Star is today reporting that this is indeed true, and that the Rossoneri will release their star man if Chelsea table a bid of £80m, or €102m.

Chelsea manager Luiz Felipe Scolari is said to prefer the signing of Real Madrid star Robinho, but if this is not possible he certainly won’t turn down the chance of working with Kaka, who he coached for Brazil during their victorious 2002 World Cup campaign in Korea and Japan.

That is a ridiculous amount of money.
I know its from goal.com but I think it has an element
of truth in it. If it does happen, even if it is not for
that price, Chelsea will be very hard to beat.

First, I doubt it is true. But, for some reason, I am not as worried about Kaka as I am Robinho. Kaka wore down through a slow Serie A last year, imagine what the pace and physicality of the EPL would do to his body. His one unbelievable season in the CL he was being rested in the Serie A consistently. Also, who would Chelsea drop for him?

I can't help but feel that on pure talent alone Saha is easily a £20 million pounds. POUNDS people. What is this Euro nonsense?

I'll tell you what it is. A rubbishy currency adopted by nations who didn't feel enough pride to defend their beautiful, authentic, traditional national currency.

What happened to the Lira? Francs? Deutsch Marks? Escudos? Pesetas?

In any case let's, for the sake of argument agree that the Euro is a dominant currency. *PHAW*

In which case Saha is worth €25 million Euro's taking the current exchange rate of 1 British Pound = 1.25410 EUR at current market rates.

Told you the pound is superior & I don't even use it! I use $AUD, incidentally, which are less valuable but way more pretty.

Our notes are colourful. See below. :)
