Apologies if this has already been done before. But, who do you think are the most underrated footballers in the world currently? I've got a list of some of them...
Michael Carrick (One of the most brilliant passers of the ball IMO)
Mathieu Flamini (He has been tremendous for Arsenal this season)
Alexander Hleb (Holds onto the ball very effectively, sweet dribbler too)
Robbie Keane (A quality player with great skills, he consistently plays well regardless of whose his strike partner)
Robert Green (Terrific goalkeeper, should be in England's squad at least)
Richard Dunne (Rock-solid defender with immense experience at the English top-flight)
Mikael Arteta (Industrious & technically superb, he's the best player outside of the 'Big 4'. Quality passer of the ball too)
Christopher Samba (Colossal & powerful physique with superb defensive attributes.)
Ricardo Carvalho (Same fate as R.Keane. Criminally underrated relative to his much hyped partner. Great pace & excellent in the air, he's one of the best defenders in the world currently)
Niko Kranjcar (Given the license to roam by Redknapp, one of the most technically gifted midfielders in the Premiership)
Sulley Muntari (Operates from the left side of the midfield usually, possessed a powerful frame & could fire thunderous rockets straight at goal.
Mark Noble (Plays with the passion of a local lad, I love his great tenacity & agressive streaks)
Stephen Ireland (A pretty elegant little player with a good engine and nice passing range, he loves sitting deep, dictating City's play)
David Bentley (Superb crosser of the ball with pin-point accuracy & a constant attacking threat)
Ashley Young (See above)
Michael Essien (Acts as a protective shield infront of the back 4 & breaks up the opposition's offensive moves effectively)
Would love to make a list of all the players in the world too, but I seriously couldn't be arsed to do so. If you do, remember it's a must to include the likes of Luca Toni, Miroslav Klose, Franck Ribery, Diego, Kim Kallstrom, David Villa, Xavi Hernandez, Andres Iniesta, Andrea Pirlo, Clarence Seedorf, Christian Chivu, Ivan Cordoba, Simao Sabrosa, Daniele de Rossi, Esteban Cambiasso, Alessandro Mancini, Joaquin Sanchez. Feel free to add yours too.
