in my opinion rio ferdinand should be named new manchester united captain in time for the new campaign, i just feel he's grown into the role and with the dimise of garry neville and ryan giggs i think it's time for a new leader and i believe he could even be a better and calmer skipper than keano or maybe even king eric he's got a calming influence that goes right through the team and his comittment is un-questionable top class player imo anyone else think he should be give the captaincey full time next season ?

Absolutly it isn't me you have to convince I do belive that there will be some sections of United Supporters who haven't forvin him

Yes completely agree been fantastic this season and stepped in well when Giggsy hasn't been playing. Giggs isn't a good captain hes only there on a merit on the other hand Rio is a very respectable captain!

Rio should be made captain imo. He's just signed a new contract and is now likely to finish his career at the club. He has good presence on the pitch, doesn't mind giving his teammates encouragement or a telling off and is likely to feature in the vast majority of games when fit.
