All joking aside i think fergie has already confirmed he wants to see what rossi is made of this season so i expect him to have a lot more games. However we could alwaysdo with a quality strker in case of injuries.

Well certainly not a desperate situation. Rooney and Saha can certainly do he job and Ihave been outmost impressed with Rossi. We need another offensive midfielder more I believe. A cover for Scholes as we missed him soo much when he was out last season.

Problem with Saha is his dodgy injury record - he could pick one up at any time. Rossi seems too light to lead the line too, though we do have Smithy coming back.

hi manchester fans this is my first time here i hope we spend a good time...i'm one of Man fan and i love very much...Manchester need big striker instead of Ruud like any big team cause we play not in the premier league but also in the champion where we will clash with big teams(Barsa,Real,Inter...) so we need good scorer..

i think the better choice for us is Fernando Torres ,and medfielder Marco Seena(Villareeal) i think this will be a good deals...

I do think that we need a new striker but Alex Ferguson may stick with Rossi.

It seems that Rossi will be the most likely option, considering Fergie has already said that he wants to give Rossi more chances this season.

hi all,we definetely need a prolific striker,and a holding midfielder too,we scored many goals last season,but then we had RVN,now he's gone,i don't believe Saha can do as good as him,we also leaked many goals,and this was due to our midfield rather than our defense,a holding midfielder is a necessity,i say we go for mascherano,if he is not available than senna,as for a striker,i suggested yesterday klose,he is good in the air and scores for fun,as we all saw in the WC.

To be perfectly honest, we won't get a new striker and we don't need a new striker.
There is no other team in the country other than Arsenal who just relies on one player to score. We can and should get goals from all over the pitch with lots of different players.
