I will hopefully be asking the same qestion on 21st May around 10pm. However until then I would not like to tempt fate. I have confidence in United but wouldn't want to start thinking about this sort of thing just in case I jinx it

After 99 it was the day after. I have mates going over for it in Manchester.
It will be the day after or friday at the latest.

If we manage to beat Chelsea then I would imagine it would be soon after the game itself. Like Jazz said the '99 perade took place the day after the Champions League Final so more than likely we can expect something similar this time around. I hope!

To me, right now, no

But should we grasp a Champions League trophy for ourselves then I would be shocked and saddened should there fail to be one.

Win Champions League = Parade
Loose Champions League = No Parade

:p......only guessing though!

I think your 100% right there. If we fail to win the Champions League then the club will not put on a perade I'm sure of that.

Just thought so, because they don't put on parade's when we win the league except in '99 when we had the Champions League.

I may be wrong, but was there even a parade when we won the double?

Anyways, there wasn't one last year, so why do one this year?

Well, we'll have one anyways because ther'll be a Champo League coming Sir Matt Busby Way! ;)

Champions Parade Postponed

Manchester United's planned homecoming parade next week after the Champions
League final, (win or loose) has been postponed.

The decision was made by local authorities and backed by UEFA.

It comes after trouble with Rangers fans recently and the club have decide to
attempt to avoid any trouble.

Despite this, they are currently working on setting a date for a parade sometime
in the Summer.

United fans will have to wait to see the team parading silverware through the
streets of Manchester.

Whatever the outcome of Wednesday's Champions League final in Moscow,
celebrations for at least the league success are being planned by United and the
local authorities.

However, any such celebrations will take place in the near, rather than the
immediate, future. A statement released by the Club on Friday evening read:

"Manchester City Council, Trafford Council, GMP and Manchester United are
working together to identify suitable opportunities to celebrate United's
achievements this season.

"Any event would take place during the summer.

"Given the necessary logistical demands to ensure security and safety, there will
not be a parade immediately following the UEFA Champions League Final next
week."

Ive mates going over from Dublin that were going to see the trophy coming home.
They also wanted to go watch the match on the big screens.....
They are not best pleased to put it mildly and are even considering cutting their
loses (200 euro) and staying over here.

Gonna be plenty of United pubs showing it. Atmosphere will be unrivalled.

Come over and prepare for a sleepness night
