".........Can Manchester United score ?
They always score.
Beckham......
In towards Schmeichel.....
It's come for Dwight Yorke.....
Cleared.....
Giggs with the shot......SHERRINGHAM !!!!

NAME ON THE TROPHY !!

As things stand we will go into extra time with a golden goal
hanging like a massive shadow over this final unless Ole Solskjaer
can find another.......
(United win corner, Beckham to take)

"Is this their moment ?

Beckham.....into Sherringham......

AND SOLSKJAER HAS WON IT !!!!!!!!!!

Manchester United have reached the promised land, Ole Solskjaer, and the two
substitutes have scored the two goals in stoppage time and the Treble looms
large.....

(Final whistle blows)

History is made, Manchester United are the Champions of Europe again and
nobody will ever win a European Cup final more dramatically than this.
Champions of Europe, Champions of England, the FA Cup holders, everything
their hearts desire. United fans will ask where did you watch the 1999 European
Final? Where did you see Ole Solskjaer win it with virtually the last kick of the
final?

I was 17 years old and watched it in Keystones pub in Lancaster with a group of friends that included United and Liverpool fans.

The bar staff knew how old I was so I had to keep giving my mates money so they could buy me drinks!

As the game approached injury time I remember staring into my half empty pint glass totally depressed when I heard a loud 'COME ON!' from the people around me. I glanced at the TV and saw that we had a corner...

...what actually happened next is a bit of a blur. I can only envisage what happened on the pitch because of the number of times I've seen it replayed but the next thing I knew the ball was in the back of the net and there was total pandemonium in the pub.

My friends, United and Liverpool fans alike, were going mental and one of my mates jumped so high he cracked his knuckles on the ceiling and they were bleeding. I was seeing if he was alright and then glanced back at the screen just as Beckham whipped in the 2nd corner...

...AND SOLSKJAER HAS WON IT.

**** ME, I'VE NEVER FELT SO HAPPY IN ALL MY LIFE. It's difficult to describe the mayhem after the goal. I was getting hugged, kissed, slapped, pushed, beer thrown over me and I was hugging, kissing, slapping, pushing and throwing beer over people!

We stayed in the pub until closing time just talking about what had happened and how amazing it was over and over again and then piled out onto the street and walked home (2 miles!) singing and chanting 'UNITED, UNITED!'

I couldn't go as I was contracted to a job for the Post Office and wasn't allowed the time off. I also watched it in the local pub with a few friends but we were surrounded by Gooner and Scouse fans who cheered every time Bayern attacked. It was depressing for most of the match but when I saw Ole come on I just knew we had a chance. When he scored the winner it was pure delight and publican gave us a bottle of champers on the house as he was a United supporter as well! :) I have to say that this almost compares with the great night I had when watching the Legends beat Benfica at Wembley in 1968 (Yes I wuz there).

I watched it with hundreds of United fans in a huge bar in the Burlington Hotel in Dublin. Prepaid tickets to get in which made it a unique event. It was strange because there were ONLY United fans there. No scouse gits to try and wreck the night. The joy at the end was obviously undescribable and the booze flowed a plenty. A night Ill never forget which is strange considering the amount of drink consumed but it still feels like yesterday-dont know why though. Good times for sure. Hopefully more of the same thsi season.
