It seems now that us vs Liverpool is a question of who's hungrier.
Some people say that the lion at the foot of the hill is hungrier than the one at the top.
So, Liverpool's form may be just because they don't want us to equal their record.

But, some people say that the lion on top of the hill has a better view and more experience
on how to get there.

I say let's forget that we're defending champions. We're here to knock Liverpool off their ******* perch.
Although we already did a long time ago, now it's time to equal them statistically.

What say you?

I think it's only natural that a team that has never won the premier league will be hungrier than a team that's dominated it. However , my feeling is that until we have more titles than them they are still on their perch waiting to be knocked off. I only wish that we hadn't been so complacent a few weeks ago against them. If we had known then what we know now we would never have given them the game so easily.

united have the experience and alex ferguson would motivate the players hugely.

liverpool do not have the experience. they think they have already won the league whilst united know theres way more to go.

for ****s sake we ahve 2 games in hand! i hear no one comment on this. all we have to do is play football

ps. all my liverpool fan friends are already putting on their msn accouts and tee shirts wen i see them "premir league cup ours"

its ******* stupid most liverpool fans are blind. they dont look at other factors that affect the game

the thing is history doesent matter right now. its just the moment.
and if something goes wrong today we cant have the "complacent" thing as a excuse.

the point is we shouldnt think that we dominated the league, and lvpool havent won in god knows how many years. we should see that they are top of the table ( with 2 games more...true), and that should give us enough hunger.

theres a 2 point gap with a potential for us to get 27points.....we will **** up,dippers will **** up and chelski will **** up.Its no use worrying about what the dips do,we just have to do OUR job.Questioning our hunger for a league which we are the domiant force is rather silly IMO

I think there is no doubting that Liverpool have more hunger than us. Just compare the attitudes of Torres and Gerrard to that of Cristiano... But... The main thing is we have the experience of being in this position before and if we ca keep the concentration, we should barely scrape over the line.

we need to send a message back to liverpool today showing they aint having this season all their own way. before the liverpool defeat we were coasting, winning games, clean sheets galore. the fact is that we have been unlucky with the red cards and virtually no team can play games one man down.

dont give a monkeys bout the performance of the team, individual players or accountability today, we need 3 points and a message to them all that we are still favourites, still got room to let one or two results slip and that even with a depleted side we can still beat one of the best teams in the league.

Hunger only lets you know what your after, its the bottle of taking the chance when it comes and not cracking under the pressure that is important.
