The long running saga over Luis Aragones' future is over, with the veteran confirming his move to Fenerbahce.

"I am here both with my brain and heart to work for Fenerbahce," said the Euro 2008 winning coach after a meeting with the club bosses.

"I know I have come to a good and strong team. I can tell you that I am very happy to be here.

"The stadium is absolutely great and I'm sure that the atmosphere will be even more fantastic when the fans come.

"However, I like to keep things calm. This season we want to win every possible title."

This was a strange appointment.

It was meant to be happening, then it wasn't, and now it has.

I think they would be better hiring a younger manager, but if hes still going strong, then why not?

Why?

Aragones has proved himself one of the top managers in football by winning the Euro08 Championships in style.

Also, he may well bring in a few quality players from Spain.
