How many of you actually agree with 5 out of 6 Utd players nominated?

Vidic ok
Gerrard ok

Giggs is a sympathy vote, Kuyt is more entitled to a nomination than him this season.

VDS because of that run I suppose? Out of interest how many shots on target were there during that record period? Or was it more down to Vidic and co?

Ferdinand? Why not Carra? Why not Jagielka? Why not Hangeland?

Ronaldo? AFter all his pissing and moaning, falling down like a little girl and giving the ball away without bothering to try and win it back? Player of the year means more than scoring goals.

This has absolutely nothing to do with me being a Liverpool fan as you can see I agree with the inclusion of Vidic and I believe its between him and Gerrard.

Of course he's in with a chance, he'll probably come a very close 2nd. Vidic is the reason why we're top.

Rio Ferdinand - Has been a leader, instrumental in central back.
Ryan Giggs - 35 years of age, still up there with the best: Enough said.
Cristiano Ronaldo - Fair to say he has not been in the same level of last year, but he`s still the top goal scorer with 15 goals, along with Anelka and the best out of that? He`s a winger.
Edwin Van Der Sar - 19 clean sheets out of his 31 appearances.
Nemanja Vidic - He has proved to be one of the most important players in the team this year, in the absence of Rio he has stepped up a level and proved he`s one of the finest defenders in Europe. He deserves to win it.

I may be biased, or let`s say, i`m very biased.
But we aren`t a one man team, we`re were we are because of them, and the others. Of course.
