What a fantastic day .
My hat goes off to every one of the 68,800 fans who managed to make it to Old Trafford to see off Ole in his testimonial .
I watched more or less the whole of yesterdays proceedings live on MUTV and I have to say that all the stops were pulled out to make sure what will go down in the history of Manchester United as one of the most loved players ever to wear a United shirt had the best possible send off .
Thank you Ole for the wonderful goals, memories and for just being yourself throughout your playing career with United . You had your chance to leave on many occassions but never did you once consider leaving the best club in the world .
That night in Barcalona and that goal will go down as your most important contribution to the team but every goal , assist or overall play that you contributed has played a part in Uniteds modern day dominence .
I think everyone at MUTV should get a mention for putting together a memorable
collection of Ole memories , top drawer stuff . I for one will never forget what you did for United as a player .

Not kidding, I welled up a couple of times today. Ole is such a legend and I was so happy to be at his testimonial.

Obviously, the Champs League Final in'99 is the main moment (loved seeing that on the big screen at OT during the warm up) but he has given United fans so many other magic moments.

OLE, LEGEND.

we need to find a striker like ole. he ain't played football in a year & he's two effort were both on target and quality strikes. He is a natural finisher, there is no one in todays football who we can sign who finishes like solskjaer. it's great to see him get an important role at united & i know he'll do great. we'll all miss him on the pitch but i'm sure will go & watch the reserves just to see a legend at work.

Great Day For Ole

What a great day ole had on saturday, my only disappointment was yet again the appearance of that band waggoner Eammon holmes who only through his wealth gets the chance to appear on the pitch for such an occasion, where was he during the 70s and 80s when united were only doing average and the likes of myself and thousands of others were only dreaming of a great time in winning a league title.
we were the original old stretford enders who stood there on saturday afternoon during the late 60s and i never saw eammon holmes even then, i never even saw him during the 70s nor the 80s but like a miracle from above he appears in the nineties (the start of the glory years) yes mr holmes you may be famous and have bags of money but it was the guys who worked hard and had very little money who kept united going during those average years, we are the famous ones who know more and have seen more than you ever will.

GOOD LUCK OLE AND THANKS FOR A GREAT DAY WHICH YOU DESERVE
