I heard there will be one big party outside OT on the night, can anyone give any details?

I'm travelling from Bradford, so any idea on a price range to get there?

i aint heard anything but if they had sense they should stick a big screen up.

im sure thousands would turn up....

party atmosphere all the way!!!

Just phoned man utd ticketing and all they said they were doing at old trafford was showing it at the RED CAFE.....the phone number is 01618688303 for anyone who wants to book....

im not booking, i can imagine it being formal, as the woman on the phone said.."book at table"....

i was hoping they would have a fanzone thingy there....big screen with bar, outside OT or something!!.....

so at the moment all i can think of is BIshops Blaze to watch it.but i'd have to get there as soon as it opened to get a place there....

anyone any other ideas????

£3 will be nothing for the atmosphere surely????

how many they expecting??
If you're willing to pay it, then go for it. There will be loads there, and I'm sure you'll get talking to someone and have a good ol' piss up.

£3 is nothing, considering it's a pound usually on matchdays to get into Platt's.

Not sure on an exact number they are expecting. They must hope for a lot, must be a money-spinner for them.

Sam Platts:

I'm pretty sure you know where Old Trafford is :D

Anyway, from the Meagastore, carry on walking away from the South side of the stadium towards the north. Staying on SMBW road. Go over the bridge (over canal) away from the stadium, and walk to the bottom of that road, past the Premier Inn (or Golden Tulip whatever it's called nowadays) hotel. Then turn right and it's on your left across the road.

Surly United Have Gotta Do Something Big For That Night, More Than Just Showing It For Familys And Prawn Sandwich Eaters In The Red Cafe!? I Really Hope So, As Theres 20 Of Us Heading Up To Ot/manchester That Night As I'v Just Had To Sell My Flight To Russia Back To The Agent As I Could'nt Get A Visa, As I Have'nt Got A Ticket For The Game.

Plus Ive Heard The Chelsea Scum Are Showing It On 2 Massive Screens Facing The Stands Inside Stanford Bridge. Theres Gotta Be A Big Screen Going Up Outside/in Old Trafford Surly, As You Cant Even Get In2 The Country Of The Final! (who Spoon Of An Idea Was It To Put The Final In Russia Anyway!? Nice One Uefa, Good Move!)

why do the club not sell tickets to watch game on big screen at ground itself . i bet they could get 50 thousand plus in . donate any profits to unicef ?

i know police approval would be needed but surely in similar way to world cup in germany it would be good atmosphere

Sure there are other places for free.
Steve ya tight wad. 3 bloody quid only???:D
For a night like this you need the best atmosphere......;)

I was in Sam Platt's last time, that the place you can buy the cans through
a hatch with the big tent/marquee, with all the boyos chantin away?

Im from Dublin too and in '99 we bought tickets to the Burlington Hotel,
and had a savage night with 100's of United fans. They advertised a night
so we went for it. Im hoping some big pub/venue/hotel will put on a night
for the final. Pay a few bob in and spend a great night with loads of United fans.
Dont wont to be watching it with your bitter Scouser fan mates

 Do you actually spend money on ANYTHING else? lol
all you think about is your next ticket or programme. I like your style ;)

Yeah so thats Platts eh....been there a couple of times but never knew the
name,we just kind of stumbled into its path, right by the river.

It was pretty rowdy in a good way:p , some 'interesting' chants were being sung
lol, stuff that would get you banned on here in minutes :D

And Ive only been there when United have lost or drawn, so I might check it out
tommorow after we win ;-)
