United took control of the Premier League title race during March with victories over Fulham, Derby, Bolton, Liverpool and Aston Villa.

Ronaldo was their outstanding player, scoring the winner against Derby, both goals in the 2-0 victory over Bolton and again in the 3-0 destruction of rivals Liverpool.

The 23-year-old Portuguese, who was on Friday nominated for PFA player and young player of the year, then rounded off the month with a backheeled effort against Villa.

It is the fourth time Ronaldo, who has scored 27 Premier League goals this term, has won the award.

Veteran United boss Ferguson has now been manager of the month 21 times in the Premier League era, the first being in August 1993.

Oh no.

Let's hope the curse of the manager of the month doesn't come into play against the massive game of Arsenal.

Well it was fine till you came along and jinxed it Steve
The curse of the manager of the month only happens to rubbish clubs not united so stop being negative
They both deserve it! Fergie has managed United to all wins in March and no goals conceded and Ronaldo has scored in each game in March except one but made up for it when he scored two against Bolton :) Lets hope this form continues in April and against Arsenal and I also hope Arsenal's form continues (2 wins in 12 games lmao)
they both totally deserve the awards........they both have done great in march and hope that they do the same in april and may!!!!!!!
both have been excellent all season ronaldo has been amazing and fergie has guided the team really well rotating the team brilliant
