Palermo Striker Amauri?

Palermo striker Amauri believes Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson might enter the race to sign him if he watches him play.

Real Madrid, Milan, Chelsea and Juventus are all reportedly tracking the highly-rated Brazilian - who has hit eight Serie A goals so far this term.

Amauri, who may apply for Italian citizenship after constantly being overlooked by his native Brazil, has urged Ferguson to come watch him play in Italy.

He told Sky Italia: "Milan, Barcelona, Juventus and now even Chelsea. Oh and there's even Real Madrid.

"Manchester United? Let's talk with Ferguson. Why doesn't he come and watch Palermo and then maybe they will enter the race to sign me?"

On claims that Chelsea boss Avram Grant sees him as an ideal replacement for Didier Drogba, he said: "Drogba? It must be my hair.

"But when I was at Chievo, everyone used to tell me that I am very similar to him on the pitch."

never seen him play
but sounds like he loves him self
whats with this guy. He's in love with himself.and it does seem like he calling SAF out.Let him stay in serie A,the little git
He loves himself way too much! I have seen him play a few times, not enough to say if he is good enough or not!
He's a fantastic player and I wouldn't complain if we signed him. He's got loads of potential, and Fergie can certainly bring the best out of him. But he's down the list of strikers for me, behind Berbatov, Klaas and Benzema.
Never seen him play, so not sure how good he is buts seems very cocky loves himself
I agree he does seem to love himself alot and i have never seen him play either but i have already bought him on football manager and hes excellent on there upfront with Rooney scored 8 in like 5 or 6 games but of course thats only a game so we cant judge him on that

If its a cheeky striker SAF wants...he got his guy. There's nothing wrong with his self-esteem. :D
