It was such a shame for Park that he got injured when he did. He was just finding some form and scoring a few goals.

The United faithful always admire a player who is willing to work his socks off for the team and Park is one of those players. He'll never stop running and you could see he was starting to improve his finishing and crossing last season.

I think he has a future at United.

Park is a very important player for the team. Last season he has a tremendous campaign, sadly he's been hit with this injury but i have no doubt that when he comes back he's going to be very helpful specially during the winter. And we cannot ignore his importance when it comes to merchandise selling in Asia. No doubt he's an important player.

he's miles better than eagles or martin, makin him 4th choice winger, just proves how shit hot our squad is this season, no doubt he'll get his games towards the end of the season when engines are runnin on low, ronnie, nani and giggs cant keep out park forever, he's too tremendous

Ji-Sung Park

i have been guilty of slagging park off a lot, but last night he gave the most un-selfish performance on the pitch along with wayne rooney who played wide on the left with ji sung doing a similar job on the right but the work rate of the boy has to be praised !
i to be fair never even knew how tactically aware the boy could be having seen him in the flesh a few times he has usually dissapointed me, but last night it was what he did without the ball which was most impressive and most important to the united cause, but i know people on this forum were criticising the way fergie was going into these games with the 4-5-1 ... how can we complain guys ? and how can you see park comming into these big games comming up ? better than giggs of late in my opinion

I always put him on a high regard. He is a very good player and a very very hard worker and million times better than that joke kuyt and his useless hard work. Park is a great winger and should be used more often. Giggs, Nani and Park should rotate and Ronaldo too in easy games. He is quality and can still improve under Fergie so watch out for him to be even better!

he is a great team player, it is what he does off the ball impresses me most, both in attacking or defending. he often makes offensive run and whether or not he is picked up by his teammates, he will always make another run. this makes the player on the ball with greater options and the run would certainly attract trackers and that puts the person on the ball under a little less pressure and a little more time on the ball
he might not be as technically gifted as some of his teammates, but one thing for sure is that he is always, always on the move, whether it is tracking back defend, or contributing himself to the counter attack.
this season he did not feature as much because of the injury, hope he would make more appearance for the team as the season draws towards an end

Nobody can criticise Park's workrate, which is extraordinary.
He may not have the skills of a Ronnie, Nani or Giggs but by heck
is he a great player to have in the team. Always does a job when he
comes in and pops up with the odd goal and assist (before his injury)
Its hard working players like Park, O'Shea, Fletcher etc... that make United
the team and squad it is. Very unselfish and totally dedicated to the cause.
These are three guys you never hear complaining about contracts or not playing.

I think that is the best way to describe Parky. He isn't the most skillfull of players but his work-rate is second to none and he will always give everything he's got.

People forget that with PSV he has played up to the semi-final stages of the Champions League against AC Milan, and he scored in that round as well. He is certainly no stranger to the bigger sides in Europe and he could be an important player for us.

For SAF to know he can bring Park into such a big game and get a good performance out of him like that, it really gives the boss another option should he need it.

Not only did he play with PSV, but he helped Korea get to the semi finals of the World Cup in 2002. Hiddink really did his work with Park when he managed Korea in 2002...
That's a great shout, I forgot about Park getting so far in the 2002 World Cup. Just shows, the lad has more experience than you might think ;)
