I just read a report form the Manchester Evening News saying Scholes
could be out until the new year !

Bad news for sure.

We'll learn more from his scan today so fingers crossed.......

PAUL Scholes is set to be ruled out for United until into the New Year.

United will send the 32-year-old midfielder to a specialist on Monday after a scan
last week proved inconclusive on the knee injury he sustained in training last
Monday in Kiev before the Champions League match.

Sir Alex Ferguson reported that Scholes had felt a 'click' in his knee during the
session in Dynamo's Olympic Stadium.

United couldn't fly their midfielder home early but after returning from the Ukraine
in the early hours of Wednesday morning, he was sent for a scan.

Reds boss Fergie said the results didn't show clearly the problem but Scholes had
a further appointment to try to ascertain the damage.

But there are serious fears that Scholes will be told he will be out for three
months, leaving him looking at a return to fitness in February.

We missed him badly when he had the blurred vision.
We missed seeing him yes but we only lost two games in the 4 months or so he was out for.

Its a blow to lose someone with Scholesy's ability and experience. But if there's time for Carrick to step out of the "he's only a decent player, nothing special" tag, its now. Im backing Carrick to have an excellent season.

Get well soon Scholesy, we want you back for when it matters.

Scholes injury is certainly a blow to our current free lowing game. But we still have Mullet, Hargreaves, Carrick & Anderson. Anderson & Hargreaves are coming to age with Man Utd, and been doing well past fews games.

It will be a rest also for Scholes. i rather see him out now, then in january when the season picks up with the champs league knock out stage also coming.

get well soon, scholes..

this is a blow, but we are much more equiped to handle this now than last time, i hear a lot of people shouting for carrick he's back in training this week and will be fit for the gooners game but he'll have a job shifting anderson who has done well.

in my eyes there is only one place up for grabs in midfield when all are fit and that is a place alongside hargreaves, if carrick can win back his place it's time he stepped up to the plate coz i think he was bought as a replacement for scholes and not keano.
