Paul Scholes put an incredible performance today and held it down strong in the midfield..... He was a beast all game long with playing great defense and doing a good job controlling the field... He continues to impress me with his play at his age... great job

about United , that a world-class player was going to be playing
for United tonight and you asked him to point him out to you

Agree with this 100%, Ronaldo was absolutely woeful tonight and did nothing to remove that 'doesn't show in big games' tag.

I am not. I think Ronaldo was very poor. But with the limited posession we had, he couldn't do a lot about it. Although, Ronaldo never has his best games as the front target man.


I did watch the game. Scholes did make good tackles second half. Ever since he started his career Scholes has never been able to tackle, always worries me when he goes in.

what a load of tosh we were totally overwhelmed in midfield and not one of them played well as for scholes magnificent performance --- where ?

same sort of game as we played at blackburn far too slow in the engine room and the engine room was carrick and scholes . during the game possesion at half time was 72 per cent to barca why was this if our midfield was so good

The whole midfield was rubbish, they gave the ball away time and time again.
Ronaldo wasstuck up front on his own, despite there being two strikers on the
pitch in Rooney and Tevez, meaning we had no outlet to counter attack and this
allowed Barca to launch attack after attack. The only players who were half
decent were the defenders.
