between the sides in 2005 when Liverpool went on to win the cup.

Nice graphic Keano. This is the monster of ALL games. Love playing the
Scousers. It will be tight but we should win it. We certainly wont lose against
them anyway. We are far too strong and have been dominating these games for
years. Also, we should have all our players back fit (bar Ronaldo)
Hargo, Park, Nani, Giggs, Roo, Tev, Saha, Berba? to choose from as well.
Carrick may even be fit. I love these games and I cannot wait!

To be honest, if they put a lineup similar to that which they are putting out right now vs. Standard then we've nothing to worry about.

IMO Anderson and Hargreaves have to play. Anderson is our best big game player while Hargreaves has been brilliant everytime he's faced top opposition (Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal ect)

Carrick won't be 100% fit and even if he was I wouldn't play him in this match, we have a mixture of of possession, aggression and pace in that midfield. I would use this vs Chelsea aswell tbh.

If we have to we can always move Hargreaves/Anderson on the wing and Tevez to come more centrally to make a 4-4-2 aswell.

If we happen to get Berbatov then put him upfront with Rooney in Nani's position.

I know Rooney/Tevez aren't the best on the wings but Anfield is quite tight so it shouldnt matter that much.

i think the GOOD thing about united at the moment is after andersons showing vs pompy and the fact we have 3 of the best CM in the world you get a good problem, who to take out, it seems anderson is coming to form and you clearly cant drop scholes not carrick but then theres hargo also its great.

but untill ronaldo is back i say we play hargo on the right and perhaps the 3 in the CM if not use anderson as a super sub

The true encouragement to take to this match is the way Liverpool are playing at the moment against Standard Liege, i say this because with United comes width and if we play with width we will create chances and eventually take one, and the way we have been deffending we are more than capable of keeping a clean sheet so the odd goal form Rooney or Tevez is all we would need in my opinion, however we may have signed a clincal finisher by then which will make us even more of an obstacle for the scousers, they look dyer against Liege and i wish the game was being played tomorrow, the signing of Robbie Keane seems to have congested them and they look so easy to mark.

I think we will beat the 1-0 / 2-0 and i fancy Tevez to have another great game, im also tiping Hargreaves to return and play a big part along with Anderson.

If Liverpool keep playing as poorly as they have done recently, it's only a matter of time before they get punished.

You get the feeling with United as well that we're due to start banging in the goals again soon and it would be
perfect if the two events coincided and we thumped them again.

They are due a result against us though because we've beaten them the last five times we've played them.

I just hope we can take at least a draw from this because with another difficult away game to Chelsea straight
after, we could be in danger of falling behind in the title race too early.

^^^^They said he might be back for the game, but even if he is, he wont be
properly ready or match fit. great news for us cos they have no one else apart
from Torres who is usually in Rio's pocket everytime we play them.

Anderson will be annoyed! .....After seeing how they played Standard Leige
yesterday, I simply can't see how they'll trouble us. We could win this very
comprehensivly provided we do our job right!
