VDS - 7 - Couldnt do much for the goals. Made a nice save first half.

Neville - 5.5 - The lack of games showed. Looked off the pace.
O'Shea - 7.5 - Made some timely interceptions and was marvelous when moved to CB.
Evans - 7.5 - Played well and mopped up when needed.
Evra - 6 - Another poor game, which is strange. Not great going forward or defensively.

Nani - 5 - Dear God..........thats all Ill say.
Carrick - 7 - Didnt influence the game like we know he can.
Fletcher - 9 - Demon today. All over the pitch. Closed them down. MOTM.
Ronaldo - 8 - Didnt look great today but when you score 2 goals how can you criticise? Viva Ronaldo!

Tevez - 6 - Looked tired and messed up a few times in possession but boy does he have heart.
Giggs - 8 - Still the master. Plays the game at his pace. Joy to watch.

Macheda - 8 - YESSSSSSSSSS I love this kid. What a goal!!!!

id say you were spot on mate, except I would give the motm to ronaldo. Other than that perfect :thumbsup:

VDS - 8 - could do little about the goals but looked strong when called upon

Neville - 5 - struggled with villa's pace although got in good positions to block out attacks
O'Shea - 6 - played better when moved into RB although struggled in the air
Evans - 7 - strong as ever still struggled with the pace
Evra - 6 - struggled at times but did ok coming forward

Nani - 5 - just didnt get into the game, even my faith is going in him :/
Carrick - 6 - didnt really pick his passes like normal carrick
Fletcher - 8 - best player on the pitch ran around like a bull dog
Ronaldo - 8 - got caught with the ball too many times one very costly, but made up for this with 2 goals

Tevez - 6 - i think jetlag got the best of him and also played with his back to goal too much
Giggs - 7 - start of the game passes wernt the best but, during the last 5 mins was a huge influence

Macheda - 7 - strong, fast, tall, skillful, and had the brilliance to score that goal, lets hop he keeps this up
Welbeck - 6 - had a few good chances would of scored if not for a great save, didnt get enough time

thats odd...

giggs 8 ? he played only the last 10 mins...other than that he has done nothing. lets be fair and forget he is a legend.

wellbeck 6,5 ? he played for a few minutes , missed an immense chance. he should have scored. that chance was a minus not a plus wtf...but ok, your opinion

for me evra was awful from start to finish and neville showed lack of games .

tevez cannot be expected to play as a lone target man .

superb game for a neutral and the first one so far thats had me pacing with half hour to go .

as important a game as we will play this season and we won ------by the skin of our teeth

VDS - 6 - Let in two goals but was solid otherwise.

Neville - 6.5 - Made some quality tackles but hes not a centreback.
O'Shea - 7 - Another solid game from a solid player.
Evans - 7 - Same as above.
Evra - 7 - Played well, despite what other people here say. Worked the left hand side but did make quite a few mistakes.
Nani - 5 - Another below par performance. Looking more and more like hes going.
Carrick - 7 - Did his best but he cant pick the passes when his strikers are behind him and his wingers wont make the runs.
Fletcher - 8 - Another quality game from a quality player. Mr Consistency. United legend in the making? Would love to see him at OT for the rest of his career.
Ronaldo - 7 - Two goals only just made up for his consistently lacklustre performances. Goes absent for 80 minutes but still manages to appear and give the goods. However, if he suddenly goes goal-shy he might find quite a few people on his back.

Tevez - 4 - Worst player by far. Lack of quality and the attributes he relied on failed him again today. Doesnt matter if he runs all day, he is just too slow. His "strength" is exceedingly dubious aswell. Not nearly worth 30mil.

Macheda - 7.5 - Its hard to give subs good ratings because they didnt play for the whole game, but the kid is good.
Welbeck - 7 - Had a good chance. Wasnt on long enough to influence game. Quality showed when he almost scored with his first touches, something Tevez didnt manage in 75 minutes.

VDS - 7 - Was very assured, claimed loads of corners very well, ande made a great save from a free kick, nothing he could do about the goals.
Neville - 5 - His lack of matched was evident, was getting had off by Young and Agbonlohor at times, but I'm sure his fitness will return
O'Shea - 7.5 - Made some really good tackles in the first half, and did his usual job of not ever being the center of attention, just doing his job quietly
Evans - 7.5 - Had a solid game as we're used to with him
Evra - 6 - Not really happening for him at the moment, didn't offer alot in attack or defense

Nani - 5.5 - All the same problems with him as usual, not tracking back or effort at all, didn't really offer alot in attack but at least wasn't hogging the ball
Carrick - 6.5 - Just a run of the mill performance really, didn't exactly stamp his performance on the game, made a couple of makes but in fairness didn't do much wrong
Fletcher - 9 - Man Of The Match for me, worked really hard which influenced the crowd and his team mates, rarely gave the ball away, and when he got the ball he was doing things quickly and making the right passes
Ronaldo - 8 - A funny one really, had to give him a good score because of two excellent goals, he was otherwise quiet, until the 2nd goal went in then he suddenly became the Ronaldo of old for the last period of the game
Tevez - 3 - You wouldn't believe the amount of attacks he messed up today, he kept getting the ball, moving into trouble and losing it. Worst performance I have ever seen from him. Can't question his effort though
Giggs - 5 - His passing was terrible in the first half and not great in the second, but he came to life a bit when we needed him to when searching for the winner

Macheda - 9 - As far as debuts go, that was pretty perfect. He came on, and was understandably a little nervous in his first touches. But after that, he was moving very well, and getting the ball and laying it off to people well. And what a goal. He's 17, he comes on for his debut, scores an injury time winner in the stretford end in what could be the defining moment of the season. Stuff dreams are made of
Welbeck - 6 - Didn't have the time to make an impact. Had a good chance but considering it was his first touch infront of a very anxious crowd anybody could have missed it really

Neville - 5.5 - Made some palpability mistakes.
O'Shea - 6 - Catch some good balls.
Evans - 7.5 - Another good game.

Nani - 6 - He needs to have more games.
Carrick - 7 - Had 2 or 3 wide shots.
Fletcher - 9 -My MOTM.He was the best on the pitch.

Neville - 6 You could tell he lacked that match sharpness, but he really got the crowd going when he crunched Agbonlahor in the 1st half.
O'Shea - 7 Again another decent performance, consistently good throughout.
Evans - 7 Looked a bit shakey at times maybe due to him not having Rio or Vida next to him, however still did a decent job, hopefully he'll be in the running for PFA Young player of the Year :thumbsup:
Evra - 6 Hmmm ... still looks tired, he's been unusually poor the last 3 games.

Nani - 6 I really wanted him to play today, but just didn't get going, didn't think he should of been taken of but meh.
Carrick - 8 Decent game, did well defensively, and his passing was as per usual class.
Fletcher - 9 MOTM for me, defensively he did really well, made some crucial interceptions and got back really well.
Ronaldo - 8 Performance wasn't really there, but you can't fault the lad, he got 2 goals, 2 very good goals also

Tevez - 6 I didn't think he should of started after playing on Thursday night, thought we would of been better off resting him for the Porto game, and I was right he didn't provide us with much but work rate was still faultless!
Giggs - 7 Can't remember seeing much from Giggsy but still another decent performance.

Macheda - 8 Rattled Villas cage when he came on and made all the fans go mental with that goal Hope everyone doesn't start thinking he'll be breaking the first team now saying oh Macheda to play every game now. But still what a debut eh
Welbeck - 6 Should of done better with his chance but still was pretty effective when he came on.

Giggs and Evra were both 10s after we equalized, full of energy again. Welbeck really should have finished. Nani and Tevez were both horrible. Never looked dangerous in any way, shape, or form. Tragic almost.

Van Der Sar- 7.5. Was the best player for us in the first half, dealing with some tricky efforts. Second half was suspect for Agbonlahor's goal, getting caught by the flight of the ball.
G.Neville-6.0- Completely destroyed by two individual moments of brilliance from Carew... Pretty poor comeback from Gaz
O'Shea- Was good in patches and put in 2 or 3 important challenges throughout the course of the game. Fergie's decision to switch him to the centre for the second half certainly turned the game imo.
Evans-8- Really thought he was great today. Threw himself at everything at the box. All most scored on two ocassions...
Evra-7- Forced the pass back and made a vital intervention near the end of the 90 minutes, to save our bacon.
Ronaldo-8.5- Lively in the first half, but slightly in the second. Yet again his ability to produce the unexpected digs us out of a hole. On his day, certainly the worlds best player.
Carrick-6.5- His performances have certainly dropped of late for some peculiar reason. Was put to shame by Barry in all fairness....
Fletcher-8.5- What can I say, the lad is an absolut warrior, my first choice Centre Midfielder at the moment. He seems to have that determination that Keano used to have in the centre of the park and provided that essential"bite" for us today.
Nani-5- Anybody who has read my posts here know that I WAS a fan of Nani. When he has played this season, he has shown glimpses of his class. But I really don't think he has what it takes to cut the mustard here. Needs a brain.....
Giggs-7- We saw the best and worst of Giggsy today. His passing was either fantastic or shocking, luckily we weren't up against a top 4 team today...
Tevez- 7.5- Hustled and harried. For someone who played in La Paz during the week, he certainly gave 100% and he was useful today

What's with the shoddy ratings for O'Shea?
He gets overlooked so much, even when he does play well.
When he went to CB he was unbelievable.
He wasn't at fault for the 2 goals either.
He was miles ahead of Evra and Nev yet got similar ratings in some cases above
