For the EURO 2008 tournament ronaldo has been given figos legendary shirt and the captains armband.
I know he has been captain before but for a major tournament to be chosen and to have also been given the number 7 shirt just goes to show how much of an impact ronaldo has made for portugal.
Not only was he amazing in euro 2004 and world cup 2006, he goal scoring has been immense for a winger on the international stage aswell and to be given the number 7 shirt pretty much speaks volumes by itself without anyone really having to say anything.
