One of 2 games on the same night, it's not yet established which game Carlos Tevez will feature in.

End score 3-0?
yep.....good result.

Nani, Anderson & alot of the young players played well.
Gibson played well i thought, considering i had'nt really seen too much of him until this pre-season. I know the old 'it was only Glentoran' line will pop-up, but i thought he showed a lot of quality in the middle. It's good to see there's another decent young British kid coming through, and i hope he can get some Premiership/Championship experiance with a loan-deal or something.
Anderson did ok. He started getting into the game more as it went on and showed off some good pieces of skill and was determined to get the ball on occasions when others would have lost it. He seemed happy to use either foot and some of his passes were very good.

However, he still looks some way off being a starter for Man United. I think he needs more time getting used to our style of play and the pace of the Premiership will come as a shock to him.

His Father is from the Republic of Ireland
In 2005 he rejected Northern Ireland, whom he had previously represented at under-16 level, in favour of fulfilling his dream of representing the Republic of Ireland at senior international level, the country he and his family has supported all his life. This is often used as a reason why Gibson is eligible to play for the Republic's representative side.

Take that from wikipedia did ya  the reason why he plays for R.O.I is becasue of the good friday agrement which allows him to call himself Irish dispite being born in Northern Ireland The same thing has happend to Micheal O'connor and Tony Kane both from Belfast who have played in the Nothern Ireland Youth Teams:mad:

His loss if you ask me.

N.Ireland are a team on the up whereas ROI are on the way down.

I think it does but he declared to play for R.O.I because of his Father ;)

But i dont want someone who doesnt want to play for us to end up playing for us.
Nani goal was beautiful strike.

I know Fergie banned his celebration, but didnt he do a different one? I swear there wernt a twist in his old flips.
Yeah different flip to the first 2! The one he did in this game was much better!!! Hope he can keep doing them.
He did a full twist in this one - I bet he dont do a full twist as he flies through the air as Fergie boots him in his ass
