Last season was even better than the 97/98 season but pretty much the same.
If I had to bet on winning the Treble, I probably would!
All I am saying is the pressure is on, with a record amount of money being spent we must achieve high!

Chelsea's downfall in the Cl is a sheer lack of experience, where as United now have no reason why they can't win the Cl. We have the squad and the experience.
That is what I am saying.
If you are all happy to just win the prem well so be it, but United are a team well good enough to win the Cl and we nearly proved it last year.

Its boring to win the Premiership????and you didnt pay much attention to it???? you just keep coming out with these shockers Anderson. The Prem is the bread and butter mate. 38 games over a gruelling and compelling season is no joke at all. We had a great season last year with some unbelievable football. Yeah we could have possibly won more trophies but the CL is a bonus in my opinion. Ok we probably should have won it a couple more times over the years but we dont have a divine right to it. We are better equipped and more experienced now and we should come close over the next few seasons but all it takes is one bad game (Milan away) and thats it, the dream is over for another year. Its certainly not a guarantee that we will win it next year. Of course it's a realistic expectation and all the United players would say that if asked. Most us fans would say the same too.Im not saying its impossible to win the CL but I wouldnt put all my eggs in one basket.
