Real Madrid Or Barcelona?

Come on now this is a big question you are allowed to pick one the above clubs to be your favourt team from spain so who is the best out of the big two

for me other than united its barcelona I love the club ive been to barcelona and the nou camp so it barcelona for me

Barcelona all the way for me. Been a big fan since back in the 80's.
Players like Maradona, Romario, Bakero, Stoichkov, Laudrup, Rivaldo and
Ronaldo were all great players to watch.
I was over in the Nou Camp couple of months back and its a quality place.
They have been poor this season in the league which is disappointing,
but Im still glad we gave them the boot in the CL.

Real all the way. Just look at the number of Champions League crowns they have, amazing! Correct me if i'm wrong aren't they the only club with the UEFA's 'Badge of Honour' for their achievements in Europe? They've won the champions league four concecutive years 1956, 1957, 1958, 1959, 1960 unREAL!

By that you are being a glory hunter go to the nou camp feel the passion in barcelona you will soon change your mind

Glory hunter? When Real won all those European cups, i wasn't even born and when i started following football with interest(3-4 years back), Real were rubbish. Even though they were 'galcticos' they never really won anything. Barca were dominating at that period with two concecutive La Liga titles and a champions league medal. If i was a glory hunter, i'd probably be a Barcelona fan.

None of them! I have no team I follow there but one of the clubs that even interest me a little is Athletic de Bilbao. I have a love/hate relation to Bilbao. The fans decided to not sign other then Basque players. Political a hate thing but when it comes to whats going on at the green field its interesting. Still in La Liga with 'local boys' and 'local boys' only.
Do you think it would be the same teams playing May 21st with the same policy in English teams?:p

El Classico is on tonight by the way. Should be a great game in the Bernebau.
There were rumours that Deco and Eto'o got booked on purpose so they could
miss the game and all the abuse that will surely go their way.
If its true its cowardly but we'll never know.
Cmon Barcelona!

REAL MADRID! All the way. I can't stand Barcelona, look at how they treat star players Ronaldinho is one of the greatest entertainers I've ever seen and only Barca fans would jeer him at the airport. Schuster, Henry, Dinho, Figo, Saviola, Ronaldo the list goes on of great player Barcelona fans somehow contrive to hate despite all they've each done for Barca over the years. Plus Madrid have player's like Raul, Casillas & Ramos. All Spanish and loyal. Guti too & Van Goal I'll always have a sot spot for him.

Also look at Real's history compared to Barca. Barcelona & Man United, I'm ashamed to say, are Europe's greatest underachievers. I'll always be a mad keen Zidane fan so that's another plus to Madrid as well as the fact that they had PUSKAS & DI STEFANO. Two of the great entertainer's. Puskas 180 Madrid Appearances & 156 Goals from center midfield. He was out of shape, couldn't head the ball, in fact all he had was his left foot. Blimey, what a left foot though.:D Smashing Frankfurt 7 - 3. Di Stefano grabbed a European Cup Final hat trick and he still wasn't top scorer on the night because Puskas got 4.

Oh yeah. Plus Ronaldo had one of his more successful spells at Real scoring 83 goals in 127 games. Including that hat trick against us in the CL.:( Yeah I'm a Real Madrid man between them and Barca. Easy.
