Good post Haggler. It's nice to see some positivity for once instead of the usual 'Sack Fergie, sell Giggs' crap that comes after we don't win a game. Good man
last season we started our 4-0 streak
and also it was Wayne best month were he scored a goal in every match he played and won the EPL POTM October
hope we return our form and also Rooney do
just 4 points behind the leader(provided we win our game in hand), and october will be the time for us to put things right, and get to where we belong.
I agree.
We have got some of the tough games out of the way and the players are getting
match fit. October WILL be a great month, Im sure of it.
All starting with a nice home game against Bolton.
Once we get the confidence going and the goals flowing it will be
business as normal for the reigning Premiership and European Champions.
Heres the fixtures from now until the end of October (Well, beginning of November actually )
Tuesday 23rd September
Carling Cup - Man Utd vs Middlesbrough
Saturday 27th September
Barclays Premier League -Man Utd vs Bolton
Saturday 4th October
Barclays Premier League - Blackburn vs Man Utd
Saturday 18th October
Barclays Premier League - Man Utd vs West Brom
Saturday 25th October
Barclays Premier League - Everton vs Man Utd
Wednesday 29th October
Barclays Premier League - Man Utd vs West Ham
Saturday 1st November
Barclays Premier League - Man Utd vs Hull
Looking at that, I wouldn't expect too many problems.
Of course, some of the games will be trickier than others, and the Carling Cup game could be seen as irrelevant considering our main ambitions (and depending on what team we play) but we shouldn't drop many points, if any.
This is the month our off-form/fitness-lacking players will click, and I can see us going through October winning all our games (apart from maybe Carling Cup, depending on what team we put out)
exactly! tradition also has it that liverpool and tottenham harbor flase hopes for the first half of the season then start crying after christmas, although in spuds case, maybe they've started early! and for the bittermen, it will all end in tears! no one should be panicing right now becasue we have played two of our most traditioanlly toughest games at the start of the season.
Bolton will be the start of the goals IMO, SAF will play 3 of the 4 maybe even all of them because although Bolton are a decent side there defence wouldn't able to cope at all against all 4 of Berba, Roo, Ron and Tevez.
You were right Hags. It was a red October. Won all the games in Oct so far.

Well, we are now nearing the end of the month and it looks like tradition has held sway. We have had a pretty good month in both the CL and the Premier. Lets hope we can now maintain this through the remainder of the season.
