tradition has it that utd kick into action in october and looking at the fixtures this year should be no exception .

bolton,blackburn,everton,aalberg,west ham etc etc .

we should end the month within shouting distance of the top .

berbatov will score for fun
ronaldo will haunt defences
I agree.
We have got some of the tough games out of the way and the players are getting
match fit. October WILL be a great month, Im sure of it.
All starting with a nice home game against Bolton.
Once we get the confidence going and the goals flowing it will be
business as normal for the reigning Premiership and European Champions.

Heres the fixtures from now until the end of October (Well, beginning of November actually ;))

Tuesday 23rd September
Carling Cup - Man Utd vs Middlesbrough

Saturday 27th September
Barclays Premier League -Man Utd vs Bolton

Saturday 4th October
Barclays Premier League - Blackburn vs Man Utd

Saturday 18th October
Barclays Premier League - Man Utd vs West Brom

Saturday 25th October
Barclays Premier League - Everton vs Man Utd

Wednesday 29th October
Barclays Premier League - Man Utd vs West Ham

Saturday 1st November
Barclays Premier League - Man Utd vs Hull

Looking at that, I wouldn't expect too many problems.

Of course, some of the games will be trickier than others, and the Carling Cup game could be seen as irrelevant considering our main ambitions (and depending on what team we play) but we shouldn't drop many points, if any.

This is the month our off-form/fitness-lacking players will click, and I can see us going through October winning all our games (apart from maybe Carling Cup, depending on what team we put out)

exactly! tradition also has it that liverpool and tottenham harbor flase hopes for the first half of the season then start crying after christmas, although in spuds case, maybe they've started early! and for the bittermen, it will all end in tears! no one should be panicing right now becasue we have played two of our most traditioanlly toughest games at the start of the season.

yeah october is a pretty damn good month for us and we have some good fixtures

i think we need to stay possiative and some people need to stop being plastic and support our team through thick and thin

and after all we could be worse off

we could be spurs....
Absolutely :p

And as long as we take care of our fixtures, we shouldn't need to worry about what other teams are doing.

what are you on about everton away hard ?

blackburn has been but everton is the easiest away we have
We shouldn't take it as a given win tbh. Could always be a banana skin.

I never go there confident. Everton are a good side.

We only won 1-0 there last year, and the season before they went two ahead, and could of easily hung on.
